GCP Data & AI Engineer (m/w/d)

For a long-term Data & AI Engineering environment, we are looking for an experienced Senior GCP Data & AI Engineer (m/f/d). The focus of this role is the design and development of modern data platforms and agentic AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will support enterprise-scale cloud initiatives with a strong emphasis on data engineering, AI/ML platforms, and cloud automation. Project Details: Start: ASAP Duration: 6 months with possible extension Location: 99% remote, occasional travel within Germany and the EU Workload: Full-time, approx. 40 hours/week Must be located in Germany Contract Type: Temporary Employment / Fixed-Term Employment Contract Salary: 95.000 - 100.000 per year Language: English (French, Spanish, or German is a plus) Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms and AI solutions on GCP Build and optimize data ingestion and data detokenization processes Develop workflows using Airflow and Python Design and implement enterprise cloud architectures Work with AlloyDB, GCS, GKE, Gemini Enterprise, and Agent Platform (Vertex AI) Automate infrastructure provisioning, DevOps/MLOps processes, and CI/CD pipelines Mandatory Requirements: 7+ years of experience with data platforms and AI solutions Strong experience with BigQuery, Data Engineering, and Data Ingestion Experience with data detokenization Strong expertise in Airflow and Python Hands-on experience with AlloyDB, GCS, GKE, Gemini Enterprise, and Agent Platform (Vertex AI) Experience designing enterprise cloud solutions Proven background in Infrastructure Automation, DevOps/MLOps, and CI/CD Google Cloud Professional ML Engineer certification Nice-to-Have: Experience with Looker French, Spanish, or German language skills SThree_Germany is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
