Job Description YOUR TASK As a Manager Strategy & Value Creation, you will help private equity investors and their portfolio companies realise their full growth potential. You will work closely with our partners, with investors and with the management teams of portfolio companies. With your consulting experience, you have worked on a wide range of strategy projects in the tech, fintech and SaaS sectors and have already advised private equity clients. You will develop growth and value creation strategies and help put them into practice. You work hands-on in projects and also coordinate tasks such as proposals and sector studies with your team members. You know the strengths of your team and deploy them in a goal- and success-oriented way. Your focus is on tailor-made results with clear, actionable recommendations that lead to measurable value creation. Look forward to diverse and challenging tasks, such as: Independent management of strategy and value creation projects for private equity investors and their portfolio companies (focus: tech, software, IT services, industrial tech) Developing, structuring and validating growth and value creation strategies for portfolio companies Designing value creation plans and setting priorities after an acquisition, and supporting their implementation Active advice on and design of buy & build strategies, including target screening and integration approaches Designing and supporting digitalisation and transformation programmes to increase enterprise value Developing corporate and sector strategies and analysing business models, markets and competitive positioning Preparing equity stories and exit readiness, with a focus on the value creation achieved Preparation and facilitation of workshops, management and board presentations and strategic pitch presentations Leading, coaching and developing consultants in day-to-day project work in national and international teams Participation in business development: preparing proposals and pitches, and further developing our strategy and value creation services Cross-functional collaboration with international teams and experts for technology, data and operations Qualifications WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU A completed master's degree in economics, finance or a related discipline 5+ years of professional experience in strategy consulting, value creation / portfolio management or in the private equity environment, ideally with a focus on commercial or growth strategy in the tech or software sector Proven track record in independently managing projects and teams in a consulting environment (incl. budget and resource management) Extensive knowledge of developing corporate strategies and business models, and experience with buy & build or transformation programmes Implementation focus and the ability to work closely with management teams of portfolio companies Excellent analytical skills and a strong solution orientation, coupled with leadership experience Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English Additional Information YOUR BENEFITS Collaboration on pioneering projects in the field of digitalisation and buy-and-build A collegial, ambitious corporate culture with room for personal and professional development Regular employee development discussions and opportunities to contribute Personalised training and career development opportunities Individual support and international career prospects through collaboration with experts from the Analysys Mason network Regular team events, such as team breakfasts, a summer festival and a Christmas party Modern, centrally located office Attractive EBIT team participation programme Additional benefits, such as meal vouchers, a public transportation ticket, an Urban Sports Club subsidy, a dedicated training budget and a company pension plan Ready to shape the future with us?
