This role offers the opportunity to contribute to JET's next-generation support platform, including an AI-powered voice assistant that answers partner calls and provides real-time assistance. You will build and maintain integrations between telephony systems, support advisors, AI agents, and internal services while helping shape the architecture of JET's evolving support ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Backend Development Software Engineering Write clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code. Develop scalable backend services using C# and .NET technologies. Apply software engineering best practices and coding standards. Deliver solutions balancing quality, reliability, and speed. Feature Ownership Take ownership of features throughout the entire lifecycle: Design Development Testing Deployment Production Support Ensure successful delivery and long-term maintainability. API & Platform Integrations Integration Development Design, build, and maintain integrations between: Telephony Systems AI Agents Partner Support Applications Internal APIs Business Platforms API Engineering Build and enhance RESTful APIs. Create and maintain MCP integrations. Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of platform integrations. Distributed Systems Support services operating across distributed architectures. Design resilient communication patterns between systems. Contribute to event-driven and service-based architectures. AI & Voice Technologies AI Support Solutions Help develop AI-powered voice solutions that assist partners in real time. Integrate AI agents with telephony and support systems. Support conversational automation and intelligent routing capabilities. Innovation & Exploration Investigate emerging technologies and industry trends. Evaluate new tools and approaches to improve system capabilities. Contribute ideas that enhance AI-assisted support experiences. Telephony Platform Engineering Voice Platform Management Support and evolve JET's internal telephony management platform. Improve reliability and operational efficiency. Build integrations between communication platforms and internal systems. Operational Improvements Monitor platform health and performance. Troubleshoot issues affecting support operations. Implement enhancements that improve scalability and maintainability. Architecture & Technical Strategy Engineering Collaboration Contribute to discussions involving: System Architecture AI Strategy Distributed Platforms Infrastructure Design Technical Roadmaps Technical Excellence Promote maintainable and scalable solutions. Required Qualifications Software Development Experience Demonstrated professional software engineering experience. Strong expertise in: C# .NET Framework / .NET Ecosystem ASP.NET MVC API Development Proven experience building APIs using MVC architecture.
