About the role
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Tech Lead owns the technical solution of one delivery squad from end to end: how it is designed, built, tested, secured and run in production. Working side by side with the squad's Product Owner, the Tech Lead turns business needs into a technical plan the squad can commit to, and takes the technical decisions within the squad's scope, in line with Pluxee's architecture principles and Global platforms.
The role is hands-on. The Tech Lead codes, reviews code, pairs with developers and uses AI-assisted engineering (GitHub Copilot and Pluxee's engineering agents) to raise both the speed and the quality of delivery. The Tech Lead also leads the squad's developers day to day and is accountable for their growth and performance.
The squads build, run and modernise the benefits platforms of Pluxee Belgium & Luxembourg for clients, consumers and merchants, including the Phoenix platform (Java), which is moving from a monolith to a React front end and services on Azure.
