About the role
FP&A Manager | PE-Backed Tech Start-Up
Frankfurt
We’re partnering with an ambitious, private equity-backed technology start-up looking for an FP&A Manager to build the function from the ground up.
The appeal is ownership: designing the models, defining the metrics and turning financial insight into decisions that shape the business. For someone who loves building, this is a chance to put their stamp on how a company plans, measures performance and invests in its future.
Your responsibilities:
Own the planning engine: establish budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
Build models that drive decisions: connect revenue, headcount, costs and cash to the company’s growth ambitions.
Define what matters: develop KPIs and reporting that give leadership a clear view of performance.
Turn insight into action: challenge assumptions, explain the drivers behind the numbers and recommend where to invest or adjust.
Create scalable processes: improve data quality, introduce practical tools and automate reporting.
Bring clarity to the growth story: develop financial analysis and materials that support leadership and investor discussions.
Who we’re looking for
Strong FP&A experience, with evidence of building or substantially improving planning, modelling and reporting.
Excellent financial modelling skills and the ability to translate complex analysis into a clear commercial recommendation.
The confidence to partner with—and constructively challenge—senior stakeholders.
A hands-on approach: you can set the direction and get into the detail.
An appetite for the pace, ambiguity and responsibility of a growing technology business.
