About the role

Role: eLearning Project Manager – Compliance Location: Dublin Salary: €40,000 – €55,000 per year, depending on experience Working Hours: Full-time Reports to: Managing Director Company Description Since 1998, CityLearning has helped organisations across Ireland and the UK meet their regulatory obligations through engaging, learner-first compliance eLearning. Our clients include blue-chip banks, building societies, insurers, government bodies and large corporates. Our course library covers Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Cyber and Information Security, Data Protection, Office Health and Safety and more. Alongside our off-the-shelf courses, we offer custom development and eLearning consultancy – combining interactive design, video and assessment to make compliance training that people actually complete and remember. Role Description We are looking for an eLearning Project Manager to own the annual delivery of our compliance courses to more than 50 client organisations. You will keep many projects moving at once – from scoping and regulatory updates through to testing and release – and be the trusted day-to-day contact for our clients. This is a varied, hands-on role in a small, close-knit team. Alongside project delivery, you will shape course content with subject matter experts, spot opportunities to grow client accounts, use AI tools to work smarter, and help keep our office and people operations running smoothly. What you will do 1. Project delivery (about 35%) Plan and run multiple concurrent course projects – annual updates, customisations and new builds – on time, on budget and to a high quality standard. Set up each project with clear scope, timelines, risks and sign-off points, and keep plans current in our project management tool. Brief, schedule and manage developers, researchers, and contractors. Oversee programming, QA testing and accessibility checks before release. Co-ordinate course releases to clients on tight annual deadlines, including LMS testing and SCORM packaging support. 2. Client relationships (about 20%) Act as the main day-to-day contact for a portfolio of clients, managing expectations and resolving queries promptly. Gather and document requirements for customised courses. Provide clear, regular status updates and flag risks early. Organise and run annual client review meetings, including presentations, demos, minutes, follow-ups and quotes. 3. Instructional design and regulatory content (about 20%) Work with subject matter experts to update courses for new and changing legislation. Monitor Irish, UK and EU regulatory developments in financial services and compliance, and assess their impact on our courses and clients. Write and edit storyboards, scenarios and assessment questions using sound instructional design principles. Produce concise research summaries to guide product updates and new course development. 4. AI and ways of working (about 5%) Use AI tools responsibly to speed up research, drafting, storyboarding, question writing and reporting – always checking outputs for accuracy. Help shape how the team adopts AI, including prompts, templates and safe-use guidelines that protect client data. Look for ways to improve our delivery processes, templates and tools. 5. Account growth and marketing (about 10%) Spot upsell and renewal opportunities and present product demos to clients. Keep client records, contacts and opportunities accurate. Contribute content to email campaigns, LinkedIn posts and website pages. 6. Operations, HR and office support (about 10–15%) Support HR administration, such as onboarding new starters, maintaining staff records, leave tracking and contractor paperwork. Help co-ordinate training records and team development activities. Handle general office administration, including supplier liaison, scheduling and keeping shared systems and files organised. Support company policies and compliance in day-to-day operations, such as data protection and health and safety. What success looks like In your first 3 months, you will have: Learned our full course library, services and delivery process. Taken ownership of a client portfolio and run at least one annual review meeting. Delivered your first round of course updates and releases on schedule. By 12 months, you will have: Delivered the annual release cycle across your clients on time and on budget. Kept client satisfaction and renewals strong, and identified new upsell opportunities. Introduced at least one process or AI-supported improvement that saves the team time. What you will bring Essential 3+ years managing digital learning or content projects, ideally in compliance eLearning. A track record of running several projects at once against fixed deadlines. Solid grasp of instructional design principles and how adults learn online. Confident client-facing skills, including managing expectations and difficult conversations. Clear, accurate writing and an eye for detail. Practical, everyday use of AI tools and a responsible approach to checking outputs and protecting data. Highly organised, with the flexibility to switch between delivery, client and admin tasks. Desirable Experience in financial services, regulatory compliance or legal research. Knowledge of AML, data protection or other Irish and UK regulatory frameworks. A project management qualification (PRINCE2, CAPM/PMP) or Agile/Scrum experience. Knowledge of LMS platforms and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2). Experience with CRM tools. Some HR or office management experience. Don't tick every box?
