Job Title: Financial Reporting Manager Sector: Funds / Asset Management Location: Dublin Salary: Competitive Salary + Bonus & Benefits Our Client Our client is a leading Financial Services organisation seeking to appoint a Financial Reporting Manager to its growing Dublin team. This is a senior Financial Reporting opportunity with a particular focus on Investment Funds and Hedge Funds. The successful candidate will take responsibility for complex financial reporting delivery while providing technical oversight, leading team members and managing key stakeholder relationships. The position offers: Senior responsibility across Investment Fund Financial Reporting. Exposure to complex Hedge Fund structures and financial statements. Detailed review of financial statements and disclosures. Exposure to US GAAP, IFRS and multi-GAAP reporting. Team leadership and development responsibilities. Significant interaction with Fund Administrators and Auditors. Exposure to complex accounting and disclosure matters. Process improvement, automation and reporting transformation. Exposure to emerging technology and AI within Financial Reporting. Who should apply? Candidates should have: ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent IFAC qualification. Approximately 6–8 years' Investment Fund Financial Reporting experience. Strong Hedge Fund / Investment Fund experience. At least 3 years' experience leading teams and managing reporting/project delivery. Extensive experience reviewing complex investment fund financial statements and disclosures. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, with Lux GAAP exposure advantageous. Strong technical knowledge across valuation, financial instruments, consolidation, related parties and other complex accounting areas. Experience managing reporting deadlines and multiple deliverables. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Geneva or similar Fund Accounting/reporting systems exposure would be beneficial. Experience with Financial Reporting automation, transformation or technology initiatives would be advantageous. Role and Reporting Lines The Financial Reporting Manager will take responsibility for the delivery of financial reporting across a portfolio of investment funds, including oversight of quality, resourcing, timelines and reporting deliverables. The role will involve detailed review of financial statements, disclosures, supporting schedules and audit support packs, alongside the review and resolution of more complex accounting and disclosure matters. You will work closely with Fund Administrators, Auditors and other key stakeholders while providing leadership, coaching and technical guidance to team members. The position will also involve Fund Accounting and regulatory reporting activities where required, alongside responsibility for driving process improvement, automation and the controlled adoption of emerging technology within Financial Reporting.
