Group Financial Controller

Group Financial Controller Newcastle West, Co. Limerick | Reporting to Group CFO This is a senior finance leadership opportunity within a large, complex global organisation operating at significant international scale. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will lead financial control, reporting, governance and compliance across the Irish business, while playing a key role in a major Microsoft Dynamics 365 finance transformation. This is a role for someone accustomed to big business. We are looking for a senior finance leader who has operated within a large multinational environment, understands the complexity and pace that comes with significant transaction volumes, and has the gravitas to influence at CFO and executive level. The role Lead financial control, month-end, year-end and Group reporting. Own the SOX, governance, audit and compliance environment. Provide leadership across a finance function of roughly 50 people, with 4 direct reports. Partner directly with the CFO and senior leadership team. Play a leading role in the ongoing D365 transformation. Operate within a complex, cross-border multinational environment. What we're looking for ACA qualified, ideally Big 4 trained. Significant industry experience within a large multinational or similarly scaled business. Strong financial control, reporting, SOX and GAAP experience. Proven people leadership experience. Exposure to ERP implementation or major finance transformation. Experience working across international operations, ideally including Europe and the US. Strong executive presence, commercial judgement and leadership gravitas. Based within a realistic commuting distance of Newcastle West. There is flexibility around package for the right individual, reflecting the seniority and importance of this appointment.
